The Owners
There aren't many hidden gems along the water in New Jersey, but the bay side of Cape May County still qualifies. The McKelvey family fell so hard for the Villas and Del Haven during their vacation that they decided to buy a little cottage close to the bay. Scott, Kelly, Caitlin, and Cassidy hope you'll enjoy Sunset Chaser as much as they do! Oh, and about the name...
The Sunsets
Mother Nature puts on a show over the Delaware Bay every night. The McKelveys wrapped up most nights of their summer vacation on the bay beach watching the sunset and taking pictures. But it's not just a summer thing. The locals will tell you that Mama Naitch paints some of the most colorful, mind-blowing sunsets during the fall and winter months!
The Chasers
While on vacation in the Villas, the McKelveys saw a pod of dolphins chase their prey into the surf at Cove Beach in Cape May. A dark shadow of fish stretched at least a quarter mile, feasted upon by dolphins no more than 50 yards from the beach. Scott and Kelly have spent their entire lives visiting beaches along the Jersey Shore and had never seen anything like it.
